Mama said patience is the price for the glory

Single joy hit me like the end of a story

Still in the trenches, but the light getting nearer

One little flame turn the whole night clearer

Chasing every moment like it’s gold in the river

Single joy keep the whole soul delivered

Even when the losses stacking up like dominoes

One little win got me back on my toes

Heart full of fire, pockets still light

Single joy keep me swinging through the night

From the bottom looking up, still I smile at the ceiling

Single joy keep the whole soul healing
