Woke up with a dollar and a dream in my pocket

Coffee cold, still smiling, ain’t no way I will stop it

Text from my day one, said the rent got paid

That’s a single joy, got me feeling like a parade

Hustle in the mirror, see the future getting clearer

Chain broke twice, still I’m wearing it nearer

Granny called, said she proud, voice cracking on the line

Single joy hit different when it’s coming from the grind

Stacking little wins like they Legos on the table

One by one, turn the struggle to a fable

Late nights, bright lights, still I chase the rhythm

Single joy keep me moving when the whole world spinning
