Burned
Sweet scent of
Love
Acceptance
Selflessness
Understanding
heady intoxication
fabrication of Hope
thought lost
in the hovering chaos
creating clarity in the
swirling haze
brightly colored tendrils
of happy wafting
above the trees
up into the sky
painting dawdling
clouds with brilliant
colors, hues hewn in
the joy of
authenticity and
being seen
being known
being fully
understood
with Christ at
the center
as it should be
the candle burns down
the clouds remember
well the days
when they felt
bright colors
stain their grays
happier times
when a little world
felt so right
when a simple
candle burned
sweetly bright.
