A Simple Act
The most difficult thing to do, is nothing

To simply sit and feel
To breathe and live int he present
Observing the beauty of this ordinary life
we take for granted
To sip coffee alone
Gaze out the window
Undistracted
Browzing like a shopper
the outside life
of humans being humans
I gave my mind time to rest
I work hard, but I should not
burn myself out
I can rest
I can drink coffee
I can eat sweets
I can sit and live
I can say no
And I will always be worthy of a beautiful life
