A Silent, Sparkling Night

The Anthem of the Stars.

By tee hotPublished 11 months ago • 1 min read

The air is crisp, the snow descends, A hush upon the world it lends. The streetlights wear a golden hue, Reflecting back the stars anew.

Inside the home, a tree stands bright, Adorned with silver, red, and white. The scent of pine and spice so sweet, A cozy haven, warm retreat.

Small hands hang stockings in a row, Eyes full of wonder, watched by glow Of fireplace flames, dancing high, As carols whisper softly by.

A moment held, a gentle peace, As worries for a time do cease. A celebration, kind and deep, While all the sleeping world does sleep.

Merry Christmas to all, and cheer, May joy and hope be ever near.
