I am a scab on a knee will never heal
Pour rubber alcohol on me to see how it would feel
Sometimes I would like to go out in hiding
In a small deep hole where no one can find me
I am convinced that the orange man is the next krampus
Never was a star athlete or big man on campus
No need for a false identification
Making appliances for a brand new nation
Never had help from someone who didn’t like us
With a broken association who’s there to trust
The new life isn’t there yet to pick us up
We will still be waiting until it does
