A Shame Now

verse 2

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

I was starvin’, now the plate got the steakhouse

They was frontin’, now they beggin’ for a stakeout

I don’t do handouts, only moves that I make count

Turn a loss to a lesson, that’s the takeout

They want smoke, but they choke when the flame out

I don’t do weak, only pressure make the game loud

Came from the dirt, now the soil turned to paydirt

They was sleep, now they eyes wide like they stay hurt

I don’t do fake, only real when the day work

Turn the hate to the fuel, let the flame work

They was cold, now they beggin’ for a warm word

I don’t do broke, only numbers that confirm worth

Step on the scene, make the vibe do a U-turn

They was loud, now they quiet when the truth burn

I don’t do peace if the motive don’t move first

Turn the pain to the power, let the crew learn
