A Shame Now

verse 1

By Forest GreenPublished 2 months ago • 1 min read

Came from the ground, mud on my shoes, still got the stain now

Pockets was empty, now the money do the rain dance

They used to laugh, now they quiet when the chain bounce

I don’t do friends, just alliances that change amounts

Step on the gas, leave ‘em dust, that’s a lane switch

Told ‘em I’m next, they ain’t believe, now the fame loud

I don’t chase clout, I just calculate the payout

Enemies turn to my sons, watch ‘em play house

Had to cut ties, too many leeches on the same route

Now the same ones that slept on me scream my name out

I don’t do peace if the energy don’t weigh out

Stackin’ the green, turn a seed to a great house

They throw shade, I just smile, let the hate sprout

I was down bad, now the whip do the race route

Talkin’ that tough, but they fold when the case out

I don’t need luck, I just bet on the breakout
