You can lock every shame in my room

That’s what it’s here for

Abandoned and bruised

And with only used

Items

From my past immortal heavens

Continuing to grow

In my head and in every word

Confined in me

For a better structure within

To illustrate this life

With a wide palette of subdued colours

Ranging from delicate smudges of nature

Like pastel blue in the afternoon’s firmament

Dropped on the snow-covered burnt umber wheat

And frozen grass flowers

In the morning light

Reminding me about

Summer soft millennial pink of ombre balloons

In the child’s hand

Light azure cello and creamy mint piano

In the Greek theatre milieu

With whimsy yellow ice cream and cupcakes with vanilla buttercream

Among the beach invaded by tourists

Ferris wheel and lollipops’ bliss

Drifting my thoughts to a childhood

In the cotton candy creation

Blurred with full-grown dissatisfaction
