"It's not that I'm devoid of feelings; I simply no longer entrust myself to uncertain people."

For a time, I would often panic and lose my composure over a single word, emotion, or gesture from someone. It seemed as if the slightest frown from them would crumble my world, and a sigh would make me doubt myself.

Back then, I valued relationships too much and myself too little. I thought that giving my all would earn me appreciation, that hard work would gain their approval.

One day, it dawned on me: those who make you constantly guess will never give you answers, and those relationships that make you insecure will never bring you peace of mind.

I stopped placing myself entirely in a position where others might leave. It's not that I've become cold, nor that I no longer believe in love; it's that I've finally learned a crucial lesson: a truly worthy person won't leave you guessing their intentions.

I still have feelings—even more than before.

I'm just reserving that warmth for those who can genuinely receive it, and giving this sincerity to relationships that won't let me fall.

Now, I'm not in a rush, I don't try to please anyone, and I don't force anyone to stay.

Those who want to leave, I let go; those who want to stay, I talk to; and those who are meant to stay, I'll naturally see.

Because I know that feelings aren't a gamble; rather, it's the person you don't need to gamble with who is worth your whole heart.

It's not that I don't have feelings; I've simply finally reserved a safe place for myself.
