A Prancing through Fire Rings

A slice of the life

By P.A.Vinura JayasankaPublished 6 days ago 1 min read

In every second of our life,

that we spend over our self boundary,

with new places, people, voices, images, tastes and even scents..

invites to either a bond or to a collision.

Since even the simplest change,

impacts proportionally later,

got to be mindful as far as possible,

on where we bond or collide...

When the mind gets trapped in such a scenario,

it immediately switches off the logical thoughts,

don't you think so?

Even surly heavily built fellows fallen to pieces,

in just a matter of seconds,

by getting caught in this trap.

How to survive then?

We are on a seamless run,

along a track where no end can be seen,

with fire rings along it..

no shortcuts,

no turn-backs,

the only way is,

to prance through the fire rings,

without letting our inner self burn..

If once got burnt,

that scar would hardly heal by itself...

no time for grievances or regrets.

The Heart is what makes us strong,

similarly weak,

let the veins take the hold,

in an iron grip when we are passing through those rings......

to be neither more nor less biased in the rings...

Vinura, I would say this is top notched. Yes brother, exactly, we are in a seamless run. So this poem is a motivation to think about life 🔥🔥
