A poem written today
Smarter than the brown fox

Needing a spark
A shot in the dark
A chance to travel
Above jury and gavel
Just the Rising Sun
On a day already begun
Discipline as a poet
Evidenced in what is wrote
Putting effort forth
so it ain't all South and North
Trying to go the distance
Overcoming undue resistance
A poet can overcome sorrow
Arise to a brave new tomorrow
Just walking down a path
Not to incur undue wrath
Figuring it all out
is not what it's about
The rhyme just ebbs and flows
In this i somewhat grows
Could the poem be better written?
Am i now by snake bitten?
The sojourn into the sky
Unsure of the reason why
