A poem - Judgement Day
I wrote this during a very difficult time in my life in 1999 during a very deep depression and the craziness of Y2K approaching
A poem — Judgement Day
When the sky opens up what will you say? Will you really be surprised that it’s judgement day?
When the demons walk the earth where will you be, flying into the sky or in the burning debris?
When your soul is released do you think it will sore, or left here on earth to be forever the devil’s whore?
Do you feel ashamed for what you’ve done here and now? Do you think if we pray he’ll make it better somehow?
Are you as scared as I am that’s it’s coming to the end? Or do you just go through life and try to pretend?
I sit here praying for him to forgive all my sins and hope when it’s all over that Our Father wins.
Is this just too deep for you? Have you given it thought? Do you know which side you’ll be on when the battle is fought?
When was the last time you were on your knees looking up at the sky, asking what happened to the world while you sat there and cried?
Do you know what’s going on? Have you checked for all the signs? Or are you deceiving yourself like everything’s fine?
Have you looked all around you? Armageddon is here. Don’t get caught in the head lights like a dumb little dear.
Go to your room right now and pray for your soul, and while you’re at it don’t forget to pray for the rest of the world.
If we’re lucky he’ll hear you and answer your prayers, and all those who deserve it will be in heaven somewhere.
