A Place to Discover

There’s a reason

why things move slower here

because the deep blue waves

Beg us not to care

--

The same reason

why the palm tree sways

and leans

toward the beaming rays

Lulled

by the beat of shoreline waters

while the sunbathers

laid unbothered

--

making a scripture

of the picture

that is littered

with a bit of

Serenity

enough of

the vast blue sea

captured

in that snap of

what we know to be

Paradise

--

where no matter

what the fact is

there is better

to discover

in the secrets

of the people

who make music

with their laughter

and heaven

with their food

--

With the magic

of the ocean

there is nothing

but devotion

to the life

of paradise.
