Trapped moments in the anals of time

Memories not their only bearer to tomorrow

Moments taken, posterity's footprint sublime

Something to hold onto in our greatest sorrow

Take not one second to record their existence

And forever, proof of their importance is lost

Remember to record what matters through persistence

Forever keeping them alive in the heart for such little cost

Our greatness only lasts a time so fleeting

And the piper comes for all to eventually pay

Leave behind fond images of sweet meeting

Of those special souls, because none of us get stay

Not forever, but a blip in time so short and hard

Take their images as they're young

And at barbecues in the back yard

Leave them for others, and let this world know of your fun
