A Phoenix Will Rise
Notre-Dame Cathedral
Unlike a perfect storm with precise disaster
Notre Dame's Cathedral was demised by fire
Yes there was social media induced laughter
This is our societal views and how they inspire
Turning the cheek as some may say
Hordes of many take to their knees and pray
The glamour and glitz of a once holy shrine
Now laden with ash and no longer able to shine
Maybe it's time for a long due overhaul
The globe our home evolves a a rapid pace
Our earthly home in this universe so small
Yet all things binding by will and good grace
Allows us time to reflect on the direction of the human race
Whatever the DESTINY you decide for yourself
Hate filled bigotry has no such place
As for the Cathedral, I'm sure they'll replace.

A Kiss
What is a Kiss? It's more than the release of a need. It's more than a lust of the moment, more than a simple physical embrace. When two hearts are completely vurnerable and opened to one another, it is the locking of those two beats. Each other feeling the embrace letting it guide their actions and reactions. Thoughts both full and completely obliterated at the same time. Although time passes it resides outside of this embrace, imperceptible to them. External sounds and sensations are all muted and melded together into a single inconsenquential hum. While the awareness of self and partner are heightened to a magnitude that is so blissful the thought of separation seems painful in itself, like a tearing asunder of your own being.
