In the still of night,

Under the silver moonlight,

The world is hushed and calm,

Like a painted watercolor, serene and warm.

The stars twinkle bright,

Dancing in the sky, a celestial sight,

And I am lost in thought,

Of all the beauty the universe has brought.

The gentle breeze blows,

Carrying with it, the sweet scent of a rose,

And I am at peace,

With all the joys and sorrows that will never cease.

For in this moment, I am free,

With my soul, one with the sky and the sea,

And I am grateful, for this peace of mind,

For the beauty of life, that I will always find.
