In life we often, carry our troubles,

Making every day, a constant struggle,

The things we faced, in all our past,

Somewhere in our minds, they always last,

But if we are, to start moving forward,

That baggage makes, things very awkward,

I know it can, be very tough,

And what you faced, may have been rough,

But every day, is now a chance,

For your life, to enhance,

Let go of stress, or incidents,

That caused pain, lost innocence,

These things do not, define your soul,

Life has in store, a much bigger role,

What happened before, does not define you,

And strength you’ll find, so you can get through,

Whatever you’ve faced, is now long gone,

And dwelling on it, is just so damn wrong,

Whatever it was, that caused you pain,

Is now washed away, like the morning rain,

Just look ahead, you’re about to see,

A life where you, can be totally free,

You’re not alone, we’ve all been there,

And it’s in your future, that you need to care,

So wipe the slate, clean away this morning,

This is the start, a new day dawning,

For every day, you can start afresh,

Don’t let your past, now cause you stress,

It’s in your hands, you have control,

To live the life, that lifts your soul.
