A necessary line.

A fractured cycle.

A necessary line.

The sky rains light

so dawn is found.

Each drop,

a promise,

a cycle bound.

-

The shorelines break

so rivers run,

entwined beneath

the moon and sun.

-

Mountains bear

their ancient pose,

with veins of fire

through ice and snows.

-

Creatures dance

in desert flame.

Life will bloom

without a name.

-

The system thrives,

no give or take.

A season’s close,

another’s wake.

-

The concentration of carbon dioxide in the atmosphere is at the highest level in 400,000 years.

-

Claw and feather,

fur and fin,

life and death,

untouched by sin.

-

Root and channel,

branch and sea,

bend with tide

and gravity.

-

It holds no weight

of dark or light.

Each rising falls

into the night.

-

Every wing

and wave

and stone

turns together,

turns alone.
