A Mother’s Kiss

Smooth Skin

By Kristen UlrichPublished 9 months ago 1 min read

I love to feel your baby skin,

Rubbing against my cheek,

You are the apple of my eye,

As I feed you, your bottle is starting to leak,

I wipe your face with a soft tissue,

Your skin is so smooth and warm,

Since you are only two weeks old,

This act I often perform.

Oh little baby girl,

You mean the world to me,

As I kiss your smooth soft cheek,

I know that I am the happiest mother there can be.
