You made me smile when I was hurting
Smile when I was in pain
Smile through the cracks in the mask I had made
You made me see in color,
For a moment there was no grey
And it frightened me
The power you had
Because you could take it all away
So I ran away and took it before you could every hurt me
Cuz you’re all the same
But my brain and my heart know different,
You’re different,
and I messed up everything .
