Ever was the day that the Sun met the Moon and we were never ever the same.
Climactic, distracting, causing a fuss till the sky was a ghastly view.
Lonely and dark were all the hearts before such a moment became one with the view.
In tune it seems we consequently were with the Universe and became one.
Piercing us all in such awe, here as we glanced at this dark, heavenly romance.
Spiraling out of such a sight, a new found haze within our own darkness and light.
Empathy enthralls us all as they end their meet, Adieu from our hearts for they break as they depart.

Final Call
She flings her arms around my neck and squeezes me like she’s never going to let me go. My head spins as her lips brush against my cheek. She must be able to feel my heart thumping in my chest. I shuffle backwards and ram my hands into my coat pockets, watching her reach down and heave the rucksack across her shoulders.
