A Love Letter to Myself

Your existence is a kaleidoscope
A tapestry of all that you have learned
Iridescence woven through it, your hope
Silvery scars, battle wounds you have earned
From your onyx black pits of true despair
To the purple hued red of your passion
The moss green, umber freckled, thought filled stare
The Pearl of a smile you never ration
You speak rainbows out into navy skies
Your soft peach curves you raise up in glory
Now you don’t fear judgement from cold grey eyes
Each burst of bright colour tells your story
Each facet, all your shades, every hue
A swirling, tangle of beauty, it’s you.
