From that day on, I never contacted you again. I restored my original appearance, embracing independence and freedom. No dependence, no disturbance – it's like I'd never met you before. I know it would be a pity to give up, but there's no point in persisting in some things. Is it a must-have? Maybe losing would be easier.

The world is big. I think if it wasn't deliberately arranged, we probably wouldn't meet. I realized it later: some people are only suitable for meeting, not for owning. After that day, I seem to be calming down. There were no big contradictions in our time, no principled issues. It was just that the emotions leaked out that night. From now on, we can no longer participate in each other's days and nights.

But today I suddenly realized, I don't miss you as often anymore. I am not happy or relieved; instead, I feel a little lost. I never forgot and didn't try to recall. Sincerity is not a sure-fire trick. The boat has passed through thousands of mountains, and the road ahead is long but bright.
