A Long View of The Ocean
The journey of a beautiful soul

I once saw the ocean-it was a fine sight to see. The next day, the desert, was gifted to me. I passed travelers and patrons, and civilians in need. Came to rest under blue skies-with only my mouth to feed. I would wake in the morning, as the sun began to rise. Then I’d retreat to slumber, as it set in the skies. There were ice storms and blizzards- even black ice and sleet. Tornadoes and hurricanes thundered down on me. My adventures seemed wild, untamed and savage. Yet-they were mild, mundane and managed. As time passed, i faltered, unable to complete. My body grew old, and very fatigued. As the end came upon me, my last physical motion- was lying back down, in front of the ocean. It was a solid reminder, of the start of my journey-I knew God was kinder, why else would he return me- to where it all started, such a long time ago. Such a beautiful world that I’ve come to know. From the East to the West, and from the North to South Pole. What a fantastic life, what a beautiful soul.....
