A Little Progress

Every Day

By Ruth Elizabeth StiffPublished 6 months ago 1 min read
Goes a long way

“A little progress

every day

adds up to big results.”

This reminds us

of the value

of persistence and small stepping-stones.

Gradual progress

is very often better

than a ‘quick-fix’

because it is stronger.

Daily progress

can be seen and reflected upon,

and then you can adjust

as and when you need to.

Doing things slowly

strengthens the ‘step’,

making sure that there is

a foundation,

a wall,

or even a path.

Every one of us

has different abilities

and

it is better to go at our own pace

because this will help us

to stay balanced

whilst making progress.

We live in a fast-paced world,

so it is good to slow down every day

and look at what we have individually accomplished.

Focusing on something we can achieve,

no matter how small,

inspires us to do ‘a little every day’.
