The most fortunate fruits

gathered into one bowl.

They have become

the greatest weapon against

a life built on failure.

As if disease became its own cure,

the most benevolent, derived from its own.

Guts, skin, bones, and blood,

it's all readily available; nothing hidden.

A life built on failure

nurtured with all the nutrients for future abundance,

having toiled through unfulfilled outcomes and dreams,

I'm ready to strike again

with even greater force.

I long to be seen and heard,

to be appreciated, not shunned.

For this is not what it seems,

nor what others wish to perceive.

Their guilt-tripping and contemplation

serving their egoistic needs,

fulfilling their desires at someone else's expense.

can oppose this completely.
