A letter from Death

A truth we can’t escape.

Dear all of life's living things to whom it may concern,

It's time we talk, it's time to listen and hopefully you'll learn,

I'll come for the wealthy,

I'll come for the poor,

I'll come for your loved ones,

And those who live next door,

I'll come for your pets,

And if you could not tell,

There will be a time and a place that I'll come for you as well,

All it takes is but one word to free you from your cage,

Hopefully all of you will become wiser as you age,

I'll always be close by until your dying breath,

My shadow is approaching, sincerely, Death.
