Where October comes alive

I turn my eyes to a far-off place… that’s actually as close as the nearest falling leaf. 🍂

It’s a land full of autumn foliage, crisp apples, pumpkins, and hot cider. 🍏🎃

A fringe-laden scarecrow looks out over children running around in coats and mittens, as their parents chat with each other on park benches.

Festive dried corn ears dangle from the branches of every tree and warm-colored wreaths stand out on every post. 🍁

In this land, you can see the wind itself. Swirling leaves form its elusive outline, with hopes and dreams drifting along for the ride.

Baked goods and candy please the inner child and steaming drinks warm the soul. ☕️

What lovely things to see and escape into… whether for a moment, or a month.
