A Journey Through Love's End

Ahsan Ahmad

By Ahsan AhmadPublished 2 years ago • 1 min read

In the quiet of a lonely room,

Echoes of our laughter linger,

But now, silence is a cruel

Companion, where once

Your warmth embraced

My trembling

Heart, now

Broken.

Memories, like shards of glass,

Reflecting fragments of us,

Each piece a story untold,

Now scattered, lost, and cold.

Promises whispered softly,

Now dissolve into the air,

Words once sweet turned bitter,

Love's song fades to silence.

In the silence, echoes of doubt

Reverberate through hollow hearts,

Where once love bloomed in vibrant hues,

Now withered, faded, torn apart.

We danced upon a fragile thread,

But fate has cut our ties,

Leaving us to wander

Paths diverged, alone,

In the aftermath

Of a love

Gone.

Yet amidst the wreckage, hope flickers,

A phoenix rising from ashes,

For in every ending lies

A chance for new beginnings.

Though pain may cloud the present,

Time will soothe our wounds,

And hearts will learn to beat

Anew, apart, yet

Stronger now,

With scars

Healed.

So let us bid farewell with grace,

For every tear shed in parting

Becomes a seed of wisdom gained,

A testament to love's enduring flame.

Though our paths may never intertwine,

The essence of what once was

Will linger in the tapestry

Of our lives, forever

Changed by love's

Bittersweet

Gift.
