A homeless painting

Your little help matters so much

In shadows cast by a bustling street,

Where countless footsteps echo and beat,

Lies a tale of souls burdened and unseen,

Whose lives are caught in a relentless routine.

Amidst the city's ever-rising tide,

Are those with no shelter, nowhere to hide.

The homeless, with faces worn and weathered,

Each carrying a story, their hopes untethered.

Once upon a time, they had dreams, so bold,

Paths once paved with promise, now untold.

Life's storms unraveled, their fate took a turn,

And on streets they found solace, resilience they learn.

In doorways and alleys, they seek refuge,

Beneath the stars, their lives set adrift,

Fighting the cold, their spirits stay resilient,

Aching for warmth, for love's gentle lift.

Each face, a canvas of experiences unknown,

Their journeys untold, struggles never shown.

They bear the weight of life's heavy toll,

Yet hidden within, resides a resilient soul.

Their cardboard beds, a temporary reprieve,

Amidst the chaos, a flicker of hope they retrieve.

They yearn for compassion, a helping hand,

To reclaim their dignity, to understand.

They are not just statistics or faceless names,

But human beings, longing to break free from chains.

Invisible threads bind us, their stories entwined,

Through empathy's embrace, a chance to remind.

Let us cast away judgments, stereotypes we wear,

Extend a hand, show them someone does care.

A warm meal, a kind word, a shelter of grace,

Can restore faith, bring light to their space.

For within each homeless heart, resilience thrives,

Invisible warriors, surviving daily strives.

Let us strive to mend this societal divide,

With compassion and understanding as our guide.

In the tapestry of life, let empathy be the thread,

For the homeless, let's fight, let's be their stead.

With unity and compassion, let our actions bloom,

A world where homelessness finds no room.
