A Happier World

How We Treat Others

By Ruth Elizabeth StiffPublished 5 months ago • 1 min read
Be Kind

“No matter

how educated, talented, rich or cool you are,

how you treat people

ultimately tells all.”

This quote resonates with a profound truth.

How we ‘deal’ with others

shows

what kind of character we are.

It is important

to treat others

with kindness, empathy and respect,

not just to encourage

the other person to be optimistic,

but it is also good

for our own mental health.

It is ‘built’ into us as humans

that the more we are positive and nice to each other,

the stronger our mental health becomes.

Respecting another person

as our equal

encourages a peaceful situation.

The empathy we have for others

also shows a lot

about our values and how we personally

‘live our lives.’

When everyone

shows consideration in the community,

we start to live

in a happier world.
