When I was in Secondary School, I recall one of the assignments given to us in Literature class was to construct a haiku that meant a lot to us as individuals. Literature was one of my favourite subjects in school so I was determined to stand out despite the (arguably) light assignment.
Being mischievous and playful in my youth, I merged my love for food (especially potato-related products) cheekily into the task at hand. Lo and behold, this masterpiece:
I love potatoes,
Potatoes are delicious,
Potatoes I love <3
Definitely had a little chuckle thinking about this submission and the incredulous look on my teacher's face! A fun little haiku I recalled from my schooling days, hope this brought a little sunshine to your day :)
