A Good Fall

A Poem

A Gem cannot be polished without a little friction.

Nor man perfected without trials.

There are no shortcuts to any place worth going...

But do you have faith enough to go that extra mile?

When things come undone, they don’t go as planned...

Sometimes it takes a great fall to really know where you stand.

When you’re so far from the sun and you just can’t understand...

Sometimes it takes A Good Fall, to really know where you stand.

Not everything in this life that is faced can be changed.

But nothing can be changed until it is faced.

To not take charge of your own life is such a waste...

And the sadness shows as truth upon your face.

The journey is so long make sure your boots are firmly laced.

Once you open up your mind you’ll be able to share a taste.

Freedom is the oxygen that feeds our soul.

There are many pieces to our lives that make us feel whole.

When things come undone, they don’t go as planned...

Sometimes it takes a great fall to really know where you stand.

When you’re so far from the sun and you just can’t understand...

Sometimes it takes A Good Fall, to really know where you stand.

You must forgive and be forgiven.

You can’t stand in the light whilst you still cast shadows.

There’s a better life to be living...

We can be a spark in the dark...

Then run together chasing Rainbows.

When things come undone, they don’t go as planned...

Sometimes it takes a great fall to really know where you stand.

When you’re so far from the sun and you just can’t understand...

Remember...

Sometimes it takes A Good Fall, to really know where you stand.
