A Familiar Gaze

Home, on Earth

By Lauren ScarpaPublished 5 years ago • 1 min read
Parallel lives

There is nothing quite like the familiar gaze of a friend or a stranger passing by

the love experienced between eyes that know not each other, but a notion beyond what they can convey in words

a smile too soft and quick to last more than a second, yet valued beyond the transitory moment in time.

I love you and the energy you create.

An open letter to the world:

the peace is contagious

the infectious smile you reap

may strangers and friends keep passing between the days present and memories past, evermore.

Thank you for the time it took you to place your peace upon me.

Much love, it’s gracious recipient; from another element of this vale we call life.
