A Dialogue on Climate Change

The Urgency of Our Choices

By Stephane Kouame (Sirkwame)Published 4 days ago 1 min read

I see the glaciers melting, their beauty fading fast,

Nature's warning signs are here; this cannot last.

The seasons shift, once predictable, now strange,

Our actions have driven this catastrophic change.

But what can one voice do in this growing storm?

One voice can inspire, push others to reform.

The forests burn, turning green to black,

We must act now to heal, to take our world back.

How can we reverse what seems beyond repair?

Through unity and resolve, with conscious care.

The oceans rise, swallowing land and life,

It's time to end the greed, the strife.

Can we hope to mend what’s so long been broken?

Hope lies in our deeds, in words truly spoken.

Each small action counts, a ripple in the tide,

Together, we can turn the course, stem the rising tide.

Is it too late to change the fate we’ve spun?

The future’s in our hands, it’s a race we’ve yet to run.

Then let’s unite, each step a pledge to fight,

For our planet, our home, let’s make it right.
