A Day in the Life? Right

A Poem About Life

a simple poem about life

Wake up and hit the alarm;

Roll out of bed, run to the washroom;

Fix your hair and brush your teeth.

Find an outfit, try and look nice;

A glass of water, maybe some food?

I don't know it depends on my mood.

Drive to work, by bus, boat or car;

Sit still and work, don't allow your mind to wander far.

Paper after paper, sign here and there, signing away your life without a care.

Now it's noon, a glass of water, maybe some food?

I'll stick with coffee, just freshly brewed.

The clock keeps ticking, but the day just drags on,

Heres some more papers, just keep on signing,

Finally! It's time to go home, lets get the keys and the car, and go!

Driving, driving and soon enough we'll be there;

Finally home! Time to throw up my hair!

Let's make some dinner, the end is almost there;

Eat the food then go and relax;

Find the track pants and lie on the couch;

Fall asleep to the sounds of your show;

Wake up at midnight and stumble to bed, only to wake up in a number of hours with the sound of your alarm filling your head.

Redo and repeat for each and everyday.

Or make it interesting and don't wish away the days.
