I thought I was a sad movie
Filled with self loathing
And surrounded by emptiness
❀
I thought you were a poem
One about brokenness and
Healing and a helping hand
Amid the blackened room
❀
We were a song
A song of reaching
And falling
And breaking
A song of trust
And carelessness
And betrayal
❀
The first notes were
Soft and steady and serene
The chorus was a dance
A dance of dares and darkness
And hearts so close I thought
Their beats might synch together
The outro was simple words with
Goodbyes woven between the lines
So finely I could not see them
The ending was fading music
Followed by months of
Silence
❀
I am a poem
Of tragedy and revival
Of planets colliding into
Dust and debris and
New worlds being
Made anew
❀
We are a song
One of regret
And unanswered questions
And glitching lines
And you –
❀
All you are is
A sob story
❀❀❀❀❀

That was magnificent! I loved the way it progressed, what you were alone, what they were alone, the way the two of you became a song together. The comparisons were so great, and then it was sad in the end, but I felt with a glimmer of hope. Really amazing stuff!
very good
This was so emotional and relatable was well! Extremely beautifully written! I loved it!
