A Cute Distraction
An Acrostic Poem
Darting across the floor.
Interrupting my focus on writing poetry.
Smiling at me with those innocent eyes.
Trying to distract me from what you did.
Red wine is everywhere!
All over my white sheets too!
Cleaning up cause what else can I do…
Thank you for forcing me to take a rest.
It’s funny how mistakes can be for the best.
Ollie, you’re too sweet.
No matter what, you can have a treat.
