A curse?

a poem about feeling too much

All over, emotions live and dwell

sensations I feel in my bones

they take over all my cells

every single one, a single touch

sometimes it hurts

when you feel too much

my heart and brain always have fits

makes me come undone

there's no way to stop it

emotions can't be kept at bay

when you feel everything

and I'm too much, they say

too much empathy to be had

it's more than just feeling

a feeling of being sad

the notion of caring too little

and wishing I could

Instead, I'm too brittle

I crave your attention

so if you give me some

I'll devour your affection

so don't play games with me

I've already thought this through

feeling all of the things ...

is just what I do
