A Cup Of English Tea
Some people just drink beer and wine,
No, that’s not right for me.
At the beginning and the end of the day,
All I want is my very English tea.
A cup so warm, it soothes the soul,
With every sip, I feel made whole.
No fancy drink, no cocktail spree,
Just the comfort of my English tea.
Morning light or evening’s glow,
Tea’s the only drink I know.
It’s my ritual, my simple way,
A love that stays with me each day.
My cup of English Tea.☕️
