I am the shadow of the wind that follows you

I am invisible in your sight

Those who choose to feel me, can see me

I live in between life and death

I am a crack in the cement you walk on

I am the courage you did not know you had

I am your greatest fear

I am the keeper of your lost light

I light the fire in your soul

I can see your beauty when you cannot

I am a wound upon your skin

Alas, I don't know who I am

No one understands my purpose, not even me
