To the alien, new to Earth's embrace,

With wonder in your eyes, behold this place.

A treasure here, I'm eager to unveil,

A marvel that will surely make you quail.

Not Mardi Gras, nor sitcom's fleeting jest,

But nature's splendor at its very best.

The grandeur of our world, so vast and bright,

I'll introduce you to the starry night.

Beneath a canvas painted by the divine,

Countless stars in a cosmic design.

A tapestry of light, it spreads so wide,

Infinite galaxies, none can hide.

We'll journey far from city's glaring light,

To where the constellations gleam so bright.

And there, you'll learn of stories long ago,

Of heroes, myths, and wonders to bestow.

I'll point out Orion's mighty bow,

The Pleiades in their celestial show.

The Milky Way, a river in the sky,

Where dreams and wishes softly drift on by.

With telescope in hand, we'll magnify,

The beauty of the moon, so close, so nigh.

Its craters, mountains, and its tranquil seas,

A world within a world, a masterpiece.

This cosmic tour, a journey you'll adore,

Through space and time, we'll seek to explore.

And as you gaze upon the starry sea,

You'll find our world's boundless complexity.

So here's my gift, this glimpse of outer space,

To welcome you to Earth's enchanting place.
