A CLEAR SOUP 🥣 FOR THE SOUL

As speeches spoken

Where sun has awoken

Earmarked to be this feasting fest

Often laden; mildly latent,

Bidden in raptures of domestic cares

Ethereally unearthly, supernally sprightly,

Seeping thro' senses to lift up it's head

Whenever, wherever, unconsciously woven

Appearing from nowhere yet suddenly there -

Off and through those traditional kitchens,

instantly prepared and

thereupon shared

Subtle in aromas, full of flavors wafting in course, readily there,

And for that making you wonder, but, what of that?!

It’s here for stilling the moments, of my past ancestor’s primal cares

To soothe the present —of what holds up in the air —

Oh ! It’s all for those digestive flares !

And of everything, so earnestly prepared

It’s a delectable so sagaciously shared

Dispensing subtle nourishment off of nowhere

Unquestionably, a sort of bellaire over siestas there,

Speaking to me—totally—on a different gear

So—elementally, calming e’ery choleric flare

Better than any verjuice,

Invading thro’ lips —interminably —

for many a thousand years

Tasty enough, that a good many relish,

From commoners to great kings too

And of What my grandma incessantly announced—-For

“Every ounce of this “Rasam,”(soup 🥣 )prepared,

It Belongs to me as good belongs to everyone’s share

Made from a vegetable stock,

with pulsed purée stirred in there,

Yet more profound are those seasonings and spices,

Where delish creeps in ,perhaps, fully declared

With root holds to heavenly, that which I’ve hinted at

Upon consumption—you may wonder 💭,

What is this writhing heat,

With warmth brought up in fleeting flairs

For all is insufficient without that which you may now guess …Where?!

Ah! Like nativity coming upon me quite instantly here …

And as a miracle upon miracle begotten there…

O ! Comes forth, darts 🎯 one, -hunger scared 😱

As pangs of chorus, gutted in gears, And for grumbles, whirling up to surge in waves —quite surreptitiously—out there

For one of the truest happinesses so readily spared

As a given, since aeons

‘T’s been always —perennially there— Rasam … a sumptuous meal anytime , anywhere !

In the providence of - rice 🌾

🍚 it tastes so nice,

bonhomously given,

for many a years

O for me to mention, what's “Rasam ,” when it’s not mixed with pure " ghee," - so crystalline clear

But, then Eschewed as to the visible as fully shared

In all that is mixed and brought up to bear

Of that feisty fair festooned in the kitchen —so earnest to own, it's owners best and neighbors pride test,

Truly familial and cogently congenial, conquering it's own begotten dares-

And, as for me, as 'twere and it’s always been

so much more satisfying ,

For it’s a piece of heaven so lovingly prepared !

Yes , Rasam …

Each time it’s made as a feast thrown up in the air,

Simply serving and brightly clear

Alongside bringing that -herbage 🍃to deck; and also with it's wholesome nature, as can be said

Along with the greatest forms of proteins so mixed,

It’s more to me than any of the rest

For today that’s a prelude, what’s generated , as I offer some food to any of my guests

Like a graciousness pruned right away, -right instantly, here and there,

Alongside a concordance that I shall call -prayers -in verbiage, so gladly declared !

For grace thou wilt have— none—Snacks 🙏

“What snack ?” No, it shall be a sumptuous meal instead.”
