This morning, they surprised me with a treat.

Nature's sopranos charge the air with each squeak,
Serenading with a chorus so sweet.

Lightly perched upon branches as an antique,
Their voices flowed like a river to a place of retreat.

Melodies rise and swoop — an orchestra so unique.
To hear them is to know joy is always on repeat.
They choreograph a song across the creek.

Beneath their wings, the sun begins to peek,
Gracing the green leaves with a golden sheet.

Their song is magic as each note will seek
A heart that is longing to steady the rhythm of each beat.
