A Brew with the Sun and Moon 🌞🌙
Watching as the days go by

A Brew with the Sun and Moon
The moon sat drinking with the sun,
And said, Isn’t it fun,
Looking down on everyone?
I see everything that goes on at night.
And the sun replied,
Yes, and I see the daylight.
They laughed and chuckled,
At what they could see.
Telling stories of what came to be.
Of things that happened,
And things from the past,
Enjoying the gossip, so much to tell so fast.
But suddenly dark clouds,
Covered the sky,
And all the people in the park,
Rushed by.
The rain started pouring,
It dampened the day,
The sun had to hide,
And the moon slipped away.
Those miserable clouds,
Came passing through,
And stopped a really damn good,
Gossip and a brew.
Perhaps after tea,
Those clouds will disappear,
And the sun and the moon,
Will be back discussing what they hold dear.
The sun will wave goodbye to the day,
As the moon comes out to light up the sky.
Looking down, what will it see?
Lots of tales to tell,
From its view in the sky,
As the nights and the days roll by.
