A Blessing in the Rain

Misunderstood

Every time clouds gather on canvas

sky unfolds grief

lets tears come down

and touch grass, flowers,

emotions running deep

into the soul of underwater

songs.

***

Mermaids wake up

each time it rains

they fan their wishes

into rainbow,

add light to sorrow coming down,

become the breeze that drives despair

into the night.

***

Each rain

blesses on touch

each drop a gem,

necklace of dreams

waiting to be

more than a thought

faster than racing heart.

Love rain for all it takes

and cleans

from spirit.

***

Wash anger in raindrops

let anguish melt

into glass bubbles

one mirror for your love,

one soul

to hold and dwell in sunlight.

***

This rain isn't a tempest

that dooms belonging

and forgiveness,

when it rains

there's a second chance

you can start once again,

believe

and you will see

path of sunshine

beyond thunder and turmoil

in the sky.

***

Set free your heart to play

don't stay inside in fear

rain is your blessing now

for happy afternoons

fate glimmers in a puddle.

Where can you find your luck,

where meet chance in a gaze

if you don't dare rain to embrace

the last shred of your wish

come home at last?
