Loneliness, a feeling so profound,
A weight that's heavy, a heart that's bound,
In solitude, I wander, lost and found,
A soul adrift, in a world unbound.
The night is dark, the stars are few,
The wind it howls, a mournful hue,
The shadows dance, a macabre crew,
As I stand here, alone and true.
The world outside, a blur of light,
A world that's full, yet empty in sight,
The people pass, their faces a blight,
As I stand here, lost in this plight.
The days go by, a never-ending grind,
The nights are long, a restless mind,
The loneliness, a constant find,
A burden heavy, hard to unwind.
But still, I hold on to hope,
A glimmer of light, a fragile scope,
For in the darkness, there's a glow,
A light that guides, a beacon to know.
And though I'm alone, I'm not adrift,
For in my heart, a fire still burns bright,
A flame that flickers, a light that shines,
A beacon in the darkness of my mind.
