The blink of an eye
Twenty five years time flew by
Never forgotten.
AN: Remembering that beautiful September day, the unbelievable attack seems like yesterday.
When the news of a plane struck one of the Twin Towers, our normal work day had just started.
People gathered in the break room and watched the horrific sight. Witnessing the collapse of the tower on the TV screen was traumatic and surreal.
The manager wanted everyone to stay on the phones. (Business as usual!) For me, reaching out to my customers to make sure they were okay, was my priority
Finally, word came down that we were to leave work early on 9/11.
