Oh, it's coming for you
Coming with a purpose we see
Do you have a clue what to do
Or will it hit like monster waves in the sea
It doesn't happen quickly or fast
It happens just days at a time, you know
From the first fallen leaves with most of the year in the past
It's the period of change that brings us a show
The grounds start to turn, and the leaves fall soon
Weather and daylight change simultaneously at the end
Stories of darkness are told under the yearly harvest moon
And you realize soon that warm weather's at an end
In the even years there's contention all over the news
As idiots begin to desperately jockey to keep their jobs
Some will inevitably end up singing the blues
Crying like little losers and pathetic slobs
Then comes the special time of year
It's a time that many know quite well
It should be the time when we all feel the cheer
But for many it's an instant trip, straight to hell
AI will continue to boom
Tracking every interest you now have
Your devices sending you hints and clues
Of sales that you'll find on some street or ave
The end of the year will come real quick
But until it's here, there's no guarantee
It might end with a world that's sick
Because of the next great plague to be
And many will get to enjoy this time for now
They'll drink, and be merry, and happy until the next
Then find out they pumped a bun into the oven somehow
And it's an oven with a mouth that leaves them vexed
Yep, 90 days is all it takes
So you better remember the song
There's a line that says be good for goodness sakes
And not end the year completely wrong
